The exhibition intend to show the work of Massimo Pulini and Andrea Guastavino that despite the different choices of materials and biographies, the two artists have always launched twin visions on objects and on the time that has changed these objects, to retouch these objects like a sculptor never content to surrender of his work.
A painter who defies mimetically the technical and scientific perspective, and a photographer who wants be an alchemist and share a crosscut style and are not content to merely capture objects, but must subject them to forced paths through unspecified means and routes, forcing them to change their nature.
This is also the reason for the title of the exhibition "second glace" (borrowed from one of Pulini’s books, combining artistic activity with the critical and literary), that is an eye that is delayed and returns, collects the waste from the first view and any escaped details, then mixes them on the same plane in an overlap in time, which is the vital condition of art, true to itself and timeless, yet able to embrace all ages.
The double step, the frame that engages, and the negative developed several times are common experiences in the eyes of these two artists who like to converse with the works of art of the past as if they were great travel companions.
We find ourselves in the presence of two wandering eyes, insatiable  "watchers", thieves of  impressions and memories, not always lived in first person, but often borrowed from history. Artists that chew each image only to return the changed, passed-in-acid memory that is not of reason but of feeling, and with all they have seen, continue undeterred to scan the world with eyes sensitive to the beauty of all time.
